I eventually resorted to the Transform commands on the Edit Page where you can zoom and pan any way you like as well as insert keyframes and freeze frames relatively easily. Your multiple clip solution is what I did, too. I can find no provision to set in and out points to control the duration of the zoom within the clip. Dynamic Zoom seems designed to do one thing only - zoom an entire clip. I attempted much the same effect and ran in to the same roadblock. ![]() copy/paste the zoomed-in area attributes? The last part is a trial and error approach, comparing frame-to-frame the last frame of the Dynamic zoom and the first frame of the zoomed-in Still, which to me feels quite cumbersome and I would like to learn if there is another way to do this. and then the 3rd Still which I cropped to the same area as where the Dynamic zoom has stopped. then the Dynamic zoom in the 2nd Still for half a second, (with a Whoosh sound effect, ha!) First the full still without zoom for 2 seconds, What I have done to realize it: I have inserted the same map-Still three times. However, it seems not possible to create this in an easy way. Show a map image of the first day of an intended train travel for a few seconds, then zooming-in to the destination in half a second, and then show the zoomed-in part for another 2 seconds. In my specific case, what I would like to create: ![]() I hear you thinking: Speed ramp? On a Still? Well, time moves on while playing a Still, so in a video it acts like a Clip, isn't it?Īnyway, when the zoom is done, it ends (in my case) at the zoomed-in part of the Still, and then it's gone. I have a question on speed ramp using a Still while using Dynamic zoom, and how to continue when the zooming is done. (English is not my native language so apologies upfront.) Hi, I'm Marko and new to DaVinci Resolve, non-pro, using the Free 17 version for home usage.
